There are currently more than 5,000 job openings for manufacturing workers, according to the Manufacturers Association of Florida. And, over the next decade, nearly half of the manufacturing employees in Florida are expected to retire, which will create thousands more job openings. Employers are heavily recruiting skilled workers—those who have training beyond high school but less than a degree—who can quickly fill open positions.
Q: Will there be resources to help me get a job in manufacturing?
A: Yes. Our team works with local manufacturers to understand their hiring needs. Once you complete your program of study you will receive assistance in creating a resume and profile. Our employers who are seeking individuals with your certification or specialization will be notified that you are certified.
